What industries does AKAL Engineering work with?
AKAL Engineering serves pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food & beverage manufacturers — any operation working under GMP or similarly regulated quality requirements.
What regions do you serve?
We're based in London, Ontario, and work with clients across North America. Site visits and on-site support are available by arrangement — see our Contact Us page for details.
What does a typical engagement look like?
Most projects start with a scoping conversation to understand your goals, timeline, and constraints. From there we propose an approach — a fixed-scope deliverable like a validation package, or ongoing support like staff augmentation on a capital project — and agree on milestones before work begins.
Do you work on small projects, or only large capital programs?
Both. We support everything from a single piece of equipment qualification to full facility design and expansion programs.
Can your team work alongside our internal engineering staff?
Yes — we typically integrate directly with client project teams rather than working at arm's length. That's core to how we operate; see About Us for more on our approach.
Do you offer staff augmentation, or only fixed-scope projects?
Both, depending on what the project needs. Some clients bring us in for a defined deliverable; others prefer embedded support for the life of a project.
What's your typical project timeline?
It depends heavily on scope — a single equipment qualification might take a few weeks, while a facility expansion can run over a year. We'll give you a realistic timeline as part of any proposal.
Do you follow GMP and regulatory standards in your engineering work?
Yes. Compliance is built into our process from the earliest design stages, not added at the end — see our Quality & HSE Policy for more detail.
Do you support ongoing or retainer-style engagements?
Yes, for clients who need continued engineering or compliance support beyond a single project.
How do I request a quote or start a conversation?
